2 day Orientation Programme
for Hetero Employees


The two-day orientation programme was conducted by Lead India 2020 Foundation for Hetero Managers / Executives from 8th-9th February in collaboration with Hetero Drugs limited.
The programme began on 8th February 2012 at 9.30 a.m. at unit No.1, Hetero Drugs, Khajipally.           Mr. Ram Jaladurgam, Assistant General Manager, Training & Development of Hetero group welcomed the participants and the resource persons.
 Mr.PVB Bhaskar Head- Media & Operations, Lead India 2020 Foundation gave an overview of Lead India 2020 movement & two-day orientation programme and he advised the participants to get maximum benefit out of the training.
Session-1
The first session of day 1 was started by Prof (Dr) N.B.Sudershan Acharya, the Founder and National Coordinator of Lead India 2020. Initially, he made all the participants as “Jan Jigiri Dosth” through Ice-breaking session. Later, he described that the objective of the training programme was to empower the participants with appropriate holistic knowledge and personal skills for transforming themselves and the people around them for a better organizational culture, enhancing individual and organizational performance. 
He motivated all the participants by explaining about greatness of Indian History and emphasized the importance of “creating our own page in Indian History”.
Similarly, he has briefed about vision and Mission of Lead India 2020 movement.
Session-2
The first day’s second session was ‘foreseeing yourself’ and this session was handled by Mr. J.Jagan Mohan Reddy, a famous Industrialist and Past Council Chairman of Lions Club. He explained the importance of ‘foreseeing oneself’ to be successful in life. He emphasized on possessing a vision for life and explained that the vision for life should reflect both professional and personal aptitudes. He further elaborated that growth of individuals would help their families thereby their organizations also.

Session3:
The third session of the day was handled by Mr. Shivaraj, a Change agent of Lead India on ‘Unleashing physical energy’.  He spoke about the natural principles of health; good health practices and exercises to make oneself fit.


Session4:
The fourth session was taken by Dr.V. Nagesh, a renowned Hypnotist & Psychiatrist on ‘organizing one self’.  He explained about different techniques to be  followed to organise our life most efficiently and effectively. He elaborated on the importance of having Positive Mental Attitude (PMA) by giving various live examples. He concluded that life is meant for enjoyment only, not for bothering in anyway with negatve attitude.

Session5:
The fifth session was on ‘communication skills’ presented by Prof. Viswanadham, an eminent speaker and Personality Development trainer. He spoke about the importance of communication skills in various fields. He said communication skills are considered as global skills as they help individual in career advancement.


   Session 6:
The last session of the day was on “Human Values for Human excellence” by Prof.Arun Kumar Acharya .                                                 
Dr.Arun defined vaue as the refinement brought in a thing/individual by  the process of addition or removal. He asked paricipants to reflect on the aspects of giving and getting from parents, teachers, friends, society etc. and suggested the participants to move from devility to divinity.  He insisted on cultivating certain basic values such as truthfulness, respect for others, responsibility, solidarity, creativity and integrity. He also appreciated the courage of few participants in sharing an incident of being truthful.
Second Day (9th February 2012):
The second day of the orientation programme was started with the recap and sharings of participants about training.
 Session 1:
First session was started by Mr. K.Prabhakar Rao, Senior Director of Capital IQ on ‘The Pillars of Self Mastery’. He has given many live examples about life and it’s purpose. Later he explained about Lead India National Club (LINC)-HYD & CSR Membership.
Session 2:
The next sesssion on Social Development was handled by Mr. Bhaskar PVB, Head- Media & Operations, Lead India 2020 Foundation. He explained about the various social debts (Ancestral, Parental, Teachers, Native, Nation, Nature and Creator) and the means of repaying the same to achieve individual development, there by national development. The session was so interactive, where each and everyone have shared their views on societal development.

Session 3:
The next sesssion was  on “can you change your Destiny”, presented by Mr. J. Jagan Mohan Reddy.  The session began with a wonderful game, which emphasized the importance of having a positive attitude towards change management. He spoke about the capacity of a human brain and how much potential an individual has. He said only 3% of human intelligence is being used and therefore one should organise his life /plans to succeed in life.  

Session 4:
 “Triggering deeper emotions” by Ms. Parameswari was the next session for the day. Ms. Parameswari, a Change Agent of Lead India 2020 made the participants to realize the role of their parents, especially their mother in becoming what they are . She made the participants to remember all those moments which they shared with their parents and seek their blessings. The session given a wonderful opportunity to the participants to realize their misbehavior and mistakes done towards their parents and to offer apologies to them.
 Session 5:
The last session of the day was by Prof. Arunkumar Acharya on Spiritual Development.   Dr. Acharya in his session emphasized on the innate abilities of each and every individual to create his/her own destiny through power of spirituality.
While summing up, he pointed out that there are various dimensions in individual and social development, social transformation, value-acquisition etc., which have to be internalized. He said “we should aim at producing men and women of knowledge, character and cultural values to achieve excellence in their career and life”.
