IBM and Lead India 2020 has jointly
conducted a one day Orientation seminar on Lead India Teacher Empowerment
program on 28th January'2012. The seminar took place at Government High School
The program was started with Vandemataram, then Introduction with program details. The Slogan of LeadIndia
Played the recorded 'APJ Kalam' speech, then Lead India Introductions. Described the Importance of Teacher's Role in Lead India 2020.
The Teacher empowerment program is mainly to identify the gaps in skills in current teaching profession and enhance the leadership skills
among teachers and role of teacher to lead the movement Lead India 2020 in schools.
The One full day program was bundled with lot of Fun Activities, songs, gazals and was made fully interactive from the beginning.
The feedback from participants was that this is the most successful program and helped them to realize the skills they need to acquire to be part of
the movement by undergoing more deeper sessions from us. Our objective achieved.

Teachers appraised the purpose of Lead
India 2020 movement and willing to participate in further training programs.
Motivated teachers to start the Lead
India class for their children.
Summary of feedback:

Doing things
differently helps to keep the momentum. Teachers got impressed with peer
introductions.

interest in group activities to learn and appreciate certain concepts.

structure was decent and attracted them that in order to bring value to any
work we need to structure it well to achieve the objectives.

time dedicated by the volunteers and thus the interest was generated to go deep
into the subject of life skills required to Lead India.
