For bringing
any change in the Society the “Home”
is the basic unit for any transformation. We can bring transformation in every
house by implementing the following three aspects viz. 1) Spiritual House, 2)
Green House 3) Corruption Free House (Transparent father).
1 ) The Spiritual House :
Every home
should have one Home Library. The parents should make children to read the
books and discuss with them various aspects of the content to expand their
horizon.
Dr. Kalam
Said that every religion has Theology and Spirituality, where the former is
confined and rigid beliefs and practices of particular religion and the
spirituality is universal oneness and it connects all religions. Hence
spirituality must be introduced in the present curriculum, which is the most
challenging thing in our secular country.
Smt.
Suchitra Yella, MD., Bharath Pharma, suggested to have Spiritual practices
within the house for harmony. Children may be sent to Balvikas Centres to
experience Spiritual power.
2) Green House:
The concept
of GREEN Habits must be implemented by every home which is basically consists
of REDUCE, REUSE and RECYCLE to protect
our External environment
3) Corruption Free House (Transparent
Father):
According to
the Institute of transparency 30% of our homes are corrupt which means 60 out
of 200 million people are corrupt.
The solution to remove corruption is Father
must be honest and transparent. An honest father makes an honest home which is
the real solution to the corruption menace in the solution.
An enlightened children should change their fathers if they
are corrupt. The father would listen to their children because of love and affection. The use of LOVE & AFFECTION by their
children is the best tool to eradicate corruption.
Dr. Kalam’ s
response to various suggestions:
Emphasized
the need of moral classes in the curriculum.
Dr. B.V.R. Mohan
Reddy, Chairman, Infotech, mentioned that in British India there were moral
classes in educational Institutions. But in the Independent India these moral
classes are removed in the name of secularism which is not good.
Subramanyam
Yadavalli, Advisor, Centre for Urban Governance, Administrative Staff College
of India said that there is a need to incorporate spiritualism in the present curriculum.
