Launch of State-wide Lead India 2020 training programme

Mr Kiran Cherukuri, Chairman, ITsAP; Mr Madan Mohan, Executive Chairman, Capital IQ, Mr Sanjeev Jain, Business Leader, GE were also participated on the occasion and shared their gratification for the collaboration with Lead India 2020 in achieving developed India. About 10,000 students participated from 150 schools in and around Hyderabad along with principals & teachers and were instilled with tones of motivation to become ‘future leaders of the nation’, to Lead India to Lead the world by 2020! Dr Kalam recalled his interaction with more than one million students and thousands of teachers in Lead India 2020 movement in Karimnagar, Tirupati, Guntur, Medak and Hyderabad. Similarly, he cherished his interaction with 1 lakh trained students during the inauguration of Lead India 2020 Coimbatore chapter. He seemed to be in high spirits as the movement is spreading in different parts of the country.

About 10,000 Lead India Change Agents were enthralled with the gracious presence of former President of India, Bharat Ratna Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam during the launch of state-wide Lead India 2020 training programme on 9th December 2011 at GMC Balayogi Stadium, Gachibowli, Hyderabad. Studying the impact and success rate of ‘Aap Badho Desh Ko Badhao’ (ABDB), a proven scientific transformative training module of Lead India 2020, designed by Prof. N.B. Sudershan Acharya, Founder and National Coordinator, Lead India, our Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri N. Kiran Kumar Reddy issued orders to impart this training to 1 crore students and youth of Andhra Pradesh. In this context, state-wide Lead India 2020 training programme was launched by former people’s President Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam and Mr D. Sridhar Babu, Hon’ble Minister for Civil Supplies, AP. Dr N.B. Sudershan Acharya, Founder and National Coordinator, Lead India 2020 has presided over the function and described the vision and mission of Lead India 2020 movement.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Kalamji opined that Lead India 2020 training programme would enable development of professional skills and ethical values among 1 crore students and youth of Andhra Pradesh. And he elaborated that launching of state-wide Lead India 2020 training programme would make Andhra Pradesh to be the first state to embark on providing value based education to all the youth. Speaking on the occasion, Mr D. Sridhar Babu, Hon’ble Minister for Civil Supplies felt that imparting ‘Aap Badho Desh Ko Badha’ (ABDB) training to 1 crore youth to achieve a ‘nation with values’ was an extraordinary phenomenon, as many other training programmes were aiming just at wealth creation rather than holistic development of the individuals as well as the nation. He appreciated the efforts of Dr Kalam for extending his support to Lead India 2020, being a potential driving force in the capacity of Chief Mentor of the foundation. And he valued the cooperation of various corporate Leaders such as GE, IBM, Capital IQ, CA Technologies, ITsAP etc., in strengthening the movement further.
